Cheap Dining Room Table Shipping Services

 

Dining room table, hutch, buffet, 5 chairs, and one leaf storage not shown here to be transported. I will coordinate with my family member holding the items for me and then they will be dropped off at a furniture refinisher at a later date that can be flexible. We are dealing with a weekday only drop off at the refinishers, with some dock hours that I can get specifics on as soon as we book, but have been told 7a.m. -3p.m. m-f  

 

Pickup is from 10 am to 4 pm from auction. Table size is flexible; removal of leaves enables length to be reduced from 96” to 56” x 42” (width) x 30” (height). Should remove leaves and may also remove legs if necessary for shipping.

The table does not break down. The table is in a garage with alley access. Will need to call before pickup -- alley access is through a locked gate and you will need the code. I can arrange to have one person assisting in pickup, and one person at delivery. Thank you.

There are 8 chairs and a footstool to be picked up in Wilson NC to be combined with the other items in Chapel Hill NC. It all goes to intown Atlanta. There is a middle aged person at each end who can provide a bit of help. None of the items are specially heavy or delicate. I can include pictures but it will look like a jumble. There is bedroom furniture (NO bureaus or mattresses) dining room table and chairs, misc boxes and rugs. No stairs at the pickup. The delivery has 4 wide front steps. Everything is placed on the ground floor except for the bed and a a couple of tables which go in the basement, but there is a basement entrance in the back with no steps. Dining room table is a circular tabletop with a removable base-- total cube required is not the same as measurements  

The table is broken down into 4 pieces, 2 sides and the 2 center leaves. The pedestal legs have also been removed. All items will need to be individually wrapped in blankets and protective cover. Multiple blankets will be required as there are 6 pieces to the table and the legs are large, the table must be protected from any damage as it is an antique.  

There are two accompanying leafs extensions both 16” wide x 46” long  

The top comes off the table, although I would like it together when delivered. 75 pounds is an estimate of the weight.  

These are items I am taking from the sale of a family house. Two antique dressers (one with a marble top), one antique bedside table, about a dozen paintings and an antique wall map. An oriental rug. An antique sofa. Three dining room chairs. A dining room table. Maybe half a dozen boxes. A wingback chair. (The home they are coming out of is not a one-bedroom. I just chose that to approximate the size of the shipment in the form. It's less than the contents of a small studio, I think.) Just assorted items. If packing help with some items were available, that would be ideal. I am not there to do it.
