Nana's Desk
After my grandmother died in 1982, her desk went to Aunt Kay's. Now that she is gone I was offered the desk from my cousins. They are in all in San Diego, and I moved to Seattle years ago.
Although the desk is not a "real antique" (1940's era), I hated to see it go to Goodwill, so I made arrangements to have it sent to me.
I am now sitting at the desk typing up this note. Feels nice to be ...

Uship came through when no one else could!
We were very happy to find Uship on the internet. At first we were unsure of using an online service, but we were really desparate as no other shipper seemed to be able to handle our unique and heavy item. My husband had purchased an antique safe (3000lbs)No freight company wanted to touch the job unless we had it crated up and then the cost was nearly $3500.00 but through Uship we were able to ...

fragile rare antique furniture
Odd, rare, fragile antique chair moved far in just a few days. Blanket wrapped, in great condition on arrival, moved just as if it had been in my own car. Better price than commercial freight forwarder or moving consolidator type company.

Shipping an Antique
I was assisting a relative who had inherited a beautiful antique clock but had no place for it in her home. We had no idea how to proceed to sell it. Then, we had received the name and address of a reputable antique dealer but had to get the clock from Florida to Massachusetts!
Using U-Ship saved us $250.00!!

Antique sideboard arives safely
I was a nervous wreck trying to figure out how to move a fragile antique sideboard that was being given to us by my husband's family. U-ship site gave me many options and saved us at least $600. The carrier took excellent care of the piece and we are anxiously awaiting when we can actually display it in our home after it is restored.

This was my first experience with hiring online shipper. I can't believe how easy it was. The ratings system provides useful comparisons. I would have been lost without this site.

Fantastic Shipper for Our Antique Cart
I needed to ship an antique horse cart known as an Irish Jaunting Cart from California to New York state. After reading all the positive feedbacks from Kurt of Summit Transport, I decided to hire him. He also was very competitive on his bidding. I couldn't have had a better experience. I did not know that the pick-up location was going to involve him getting his rig up a long steep driveway, but i ...

Fantastic Experience Shipping Large Antiques
I had purchased a large two piece cupboard and a 19th century grandfather clock from a local antique house. Normally my husband and I would handle the moving ourselves, but I had foot surgery earlier in the week and was on crutches so we needed to outsource the pick up and delivery. The auction house requires pick up of any won items within 3 business days of the auction so I needed to find a sh ...

Very valuable sign delivered perfectly. Super price, great guys
I started by checking the local shippers around S.L.C, Utah. Bids were litterly prohibitive. A friend told me about a sign 6' that he had delivered through U-ship. I signed up and listed a very expensive sign that was not crated (as most shippers wanted them crated) Griz showed up, padded the sign and shipped the sign to Texas for me. It arrived in perfect condition and my friend who received the ...

Great Experience
Fantastic man, very trustworthy, handicapped serving our country. He is not bitter about that. He is not giving up but keeps going with everything he can. Shippment had high value and it was handled as such. This man is polite honest and I could not have hoped to find a better person to deliver my goods. U-Ship should treasure this man and customers should demand no less than he offers.

Fragile heirlooms shipped with care!
I was VERY nervous about shipping these 4th generation fragile Newel Post lamps from rural Az to Massachussets. I didn't have the thousands of dollars the "Art" shipping companies wanted. Gus's quote wasn't cheap but is was reasonable.
Gus put me at ease from the start. He asked informed questions about the items that let me know he knew what he was doing. He personally packed them up and stayed ...

Uship was the answer to an unpleasant eBay seller!
I purchased a piece of furniture on eBay for what I considered to be a real deal, but I hadn't requested the shipping cost ahead of time (my error entirely). When the BAD news came back--that shipping would be 75% of the purchase price--I asked to be released from the contract (out of Christmas kindness, as it were). The seller turned a bit nasty, and it became clear that the seller had an in-hous ...

Delivering a restored antique carousel horse
I had purchased a restored antique carousel horse, manufactured in 1911, and used uShip to transport it from New Hampshire to Missouri. This was my first experience with uShip, and found the website to be easy to use. I was apprehensive at first due to the value of the item being shipped, but the communications from the transporter helped a lot. I was more flexible on time than he was, so had t ...

Will always use Uship for our shipping needs.
We have a small antique shop in Rome, GA and sold a table to a couple from Ohio who were passing through town. They really wanted the table but couldn't take it with them. They thought that shipping could be arranged later; we had doubts. Well, after many quotes and many calls, it was becoming apparent that the cost and time frame were just not going to work. We were at the point of refunding ...

Excellent experience shipping unusual items.
I had 3 wind-up record player cabinets shipped to me in New England...these are antique wood cabinets with delicate gears inside. Mike at UShipWeHaul was amazing, working around MY schedule for delivery and very professional. The price beat the other LTL companies I had contacted, and the service can't be beat. I'll use UShip again, and Mike if I can!

Better than I dreamed possible - my table
My mom bought an antique table for me in McKinney, Texas. I was horrified to find out what shipping was going to cost me, but was very excited to get the table before all my family came to town for my daughter's wedding which was less than 3 weeks later. I googled shippers and got several bids. Then I found uship. Within a day, I received an email/question from mrfishaholic. He was traveling ...

Perfect shipper!
I shipped an old toy pedal tractor that I had as a kid down to Tn. from Ohio. I didn't want to take it myself because of the investment in time and miney. I contacted U-Ship, and in a very short period of time, I had a bid from DavidNHecht. He had a very good offer for me, and his feedback from previous jobs was perfect. It still is perfect, because he did a wonderful job for me. He picked up my s ...
