Cheap Sofa Shipping Services

Need transport for an antique silk brocade couch from a store in Norfolk VA to a house in Alexandria VA. Transport should be dry and without sharp objects

3 piece sectional sofa. It consists of 1 end piece, a 2 seat middle piece, and a chaise piece. 2 small cube type ottomans. Must be wrapped to prevent fabric tear/stain, and prevent scratches to sofa feet.

the 3 pieces are not connected and each piece is pretty light in weight. Please wrap each piece to insure safe arrival and no damage.

The two photos provided here are not the exact sofa and rocking chair but the pics are very similar to the actual sofa and rocking chair to be shipped. Would appreciate plenty of advance notice when picking up and delivering these two items. There are five steps from the ground to the front door on the pickup end in Rocky Mount and there are three steps from the ground to the front door on the delivery end in Atlanta.  

I’m an AmeriCorps volunteer moving into an empty apartment. This furniture is basically being donated to me for my use. In that same spirit, a reasonable quote would be appreciated. The furniture is only moving down the street. Weights are estimated, and likely over estimated. The heaviest piece will be the sleeper sofa and there’s no way it weighs 1,000 lbs with or without the mattress. PREFER SAME DAY DELIVERY (12/19).  

 

Enclosed transport only please. Please blanket wrap and secure inside your vehicle, being careful not to damage the vinyl upholstery. Sofa and chair are both light and easily maneuverable. Pickup is from a private seller in St. Louis, MO. Delivery is to my shop in Milwaukee, WI. If you have any questions, please ask. The sofa has already been cartoned so it is pretty well protected. They have help to load but you might not have help to unload. Just depends. It does not have to be taken all the way in the house.
