Cheap Grandfather Clock Shipping Services

This clock is a family heirloom, so we need to ensure it makes it to Austin undamaged. The pendulum and weights have been removed. But it will need to be packed up. Blankets will need to be placed inside to provide protection and the rest wrapped to protect against damage. It will need to be transported upright.  

 

Contents of my father's apartment. Upon delivery, items must be carried inside. Desk and credenza go in the basement. I would be happy to assist in carrying items once they arrive in PA. You may pick up as many or as few items as you'd like. There are a few framed pictures and a mirror and a wall clock that has to go, too. I just ran out of time when I was there packing up last week. When I listed the weights of the desk, credenza and grandfather clock, I overestimated to be on the safe side and to not try to mislead or to cheat anyone. The desk is indeed heavy, but I sincerely doubt it's 400 lbs. The pickup location is a roomy second floor apartment in an independent living community. There is an elevator. There are some additional small items, such as a table lamp, a desk lamp and a personal computer, that I chose to add here, instead of creating additional items. Seems easier this way, as I think of them.  

 

Must know how to move a grandfather clock. The movements must be removed before transport.  

Packed VERY securely (all loose parts completely removed) inside & out of clock case with numerous soft foam egg crate sheets. Can be transported standing upright, on its side, or flat on back (as pictured here). Blanket wrapped not necessary. Easily moved with a hand truck. Flexible on p/u and del dates/times: Delivery as late as April 30th. YOUR BEST PRICE PLEASE!!  

This will need to be picked up at a residence, dis-assembled and packed for safe transport, and delivered to a residence. Will need to arrange times for pickup and delivery to make sure homeowners are available.  

Will bubble wrap weights and pendulum and will tape them together ie they will be separate from the clock.

clock is 18.75 x 72 x8.5 weight 40lbs. Battery operated clock made to look like grandfather clock.  

Clock can blanket wrapped and laid down on its back (best way to ship). Bonnet top of clock is removable. I am a clock repair man, so I will have no problem setting up clock when it arrives

Workings have been removed and packed for transport. Clock needs to be blanket wrapped. Pickup will be my mother's home and destination is my home. I am flexible on the dates.
