Picture of blanket chest was taken before lid was installed. There is a lid on the chest. Bed is a mattress only, no box spring or frame. If adequate padding is used I see no reason why items could not be stacked. The blanket chest could sit on the floor and with a couple of layers of moving blankets on top of it the kitchen island could be turned upside down and set on the blanket chest. I'd prefer to not have other things piled on top of ours but I think our items are certainly stackable.

Storage location not directly accessible to tractor-trailer. Can move with personal vehicle to accessible pickup location once pickup is scheduled.  

The apartment is on the 4th floor of a walk-up building, only one large furniture piece though (Chest of drawers). I can potentially arrange to have furniture & boxes available on the first floor for pickup when mover arrives if need be. All boxes will be pre-packed and ready to go.
