I am absolutely a fan of uShip. Twice I've used uShip, and twice the deals have gone well. I talk to people all over the country about things I might want shipped. Everyone is scared to ship, but I am finding that uShip people ship without any problems. I don't even look for shippers any more. There is no other group but uShip to use!

I had never shipped anything like this before. Site is pretty user friendly. First Shipper tried changing delivery date by weeks, USHIP allowed me to cancel with that guy, refunded that and the next guy was perfect to deal with. I bought a sofa at a department store that does not offer delivery except by referring to a moving company. The moving company wanted 500 dollars for an 85 mile trip for one sofa. They picked up the engine a few days after payment just as described. And had it to me within a few days. Every time I emailed I got a quick response. And the engine looks like they took good care loading and unloading.

in the past i have had very bad experiences with movers. they give you one rate - then when they have your things - they announce that there will be an additional charge , for whatever reason they decide. you are stuck because they hold your possessions hostage.-- not the case here, i would not hesitate to use this service again.
