Door To Door Car Transport | Car shipping options
Door To Door Shipping:
Door-to-Door service is provided by most auto transport companies. The company will pick up and deliver your vehicle as close to your door as possible. Flexibility on your part can mean saving money and time when the carrier transporters your car. Most semis can’t get in residential streets or apartment communities. If possible, work out in advance a good parking lot to load or unload your car. Be flexible in your time frame and ensure that you or an authorized representative is available to release your car to the driver.
Payments
Almost all companies, whether broker or carrier, will require a deposit before they pick up your car. As we said before, with brokers the deposit will be their payment with the rest going to the carrier. Typically a deposit will be anywhere from $150-$200 with the remainder paid on delivery. Every company is different and most are willing to work with you on payment. Paypal, all major cards, Safepay, Money Order, or cash can all be used. As with any transaction, make sure that you get everything in writing, email, or in the contract.
