Over the years, the characters and places from our favorite television shows can begin to feel like old friends. So is it any wonder some of us might be taking a look back to find decor inspiration for our own homes?

Whether you’re dreaming of living like the Fresh Prince or wish you could breakfast with the Bradys, finding one-of-a-kind furniture pieces that fit the exact era and vibe you’re trying to achieve has never been easier. Here, we look back at 10 classic TV shows, along with decor ideas that ship directly to your front door.

THE GOLDEN GIRLS

From pastel prints to rattan and wicker furniture, 1980s Miami style was on full display in every corner of the golden gals’ home. This was especially true in Blanche Devereaux’s bedroom, where pink carpet and palm prints came together to create a Hollywood Regency dream come true. Let’s face it – no matter if you’re a Dorothy, or a Rose, or even a Sophia, there’s a little Blanche in all of us.

FRIENDS

Ever wish you could roll into Central Perk and have a cup of coffee with Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey, and Rachel? While that may be totally impossible (the coffee shop was technically a Hollywood soundstage), you can always pretend with your very own orange, tufted velvet couch. It’s up to you if you want to invite Gunther.

THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR

Whether you live in West Philadelphia or Southern California, the chic, 1990s elegance of the Banks’ home is easily recreated with updated classical pieces, like these reupholstered French Provincial chairs.  Now you can sit on your throne as the Prince of Bel-Air.

THE BRADY BUNCH

For many, our earliest ideas of a dream house came from “The Brady Bunch” (so much so that we’re still talking about it). While you may not be ready for orange countertops and avocado green accents, incorporating funky pieces from the 60s is an easy way to bring the Brady spirit to your home. Prefer a more updated look? We hear Christopher Knight (aka Peter Brady) has his own furniture line.

THAT 70s SHOW

While most remember the eclectic (often hazy) basement where Eric and his friends spent most of their time, it’s Red Forman’s green chair that took center stage in our hearts.  If that’s too big of a style commitment for you, we hear lava lamps are making a comeback.

MARTIN

No bachelor pad is complete without a solid, accident-proof couch, especially those with a rotating cast of unpredictable characters. Considered one of the best TV couches of all time, Martin’s green, leather sofa was a 90s classic.  Here’s an updated one that even Gina would approve of.

SEX AND THE CITY

For fans of SATC, Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment is its own character that evolves along with the show’s heroine (and love interests). But we can’t talk about furniture in this show without mentioning the furniture-maker who got away – Aiden. While Carrie and Aiden’s love did not last, we bet the mission-style leather armchair he made is still going strong.

FULL HOUSE

Any family living under one roof  – even those with two uncles, three girls, a single dad, and a Kimmy –  knows the importance of a comfy couch. While the original blue checkered sofa might still be a bit outdated, there are plenty of modern options that even the fullest of houses can enjoy.

FRASIER

It’s hard to know if the Eames Lounge Chair would have made it to the mainstream without the help of Dr. Frasier Crane, but we’re sure glad it did. Or perhaps Martin Crane’s chair is more your style? Either way, both are great for sitting back and enjoying some tossed salad and scrambled eggs.

MAD MEN

Known throughout the design world as the show that solidified our obsession with mid-century furniture, “Mad Men” is filled with drool-worthy inspiration for your modern-day digs.  If there’s one thing we’d recommend leaving in the past, it would be the personal office bar. That didn’t work out too well for Don Draper.
