BACKROADS TRANSPORT is new to USHIP but not to “on demand transport”. Chris and I have been transporting a large variety of equipment and supplies throughout the West since 2003. We love to drive and enjoy a challenge. In 2006 we purchased our current, a BMW K1200LT and have put over 100,000 miles on the bike and we are just getting started. We have explored every road within 1000 miles from home so we decided to set up our trailer for motorcycles. Since setting up the trailer we have hauled a lot of motorcycles and snowmobiles a lot of miles, both for friends and for hire. We pull the trailer with a Ford F250 v10 4WD. The truck runs smooth and is very dependable. We believe in communication; we run Cellular and Satellite Telephone, and an InReach satellite tracker. You WILL be able to find us. Russ and Chris Smith
