Seeking most cost effective, safe, reliable transport.
Pickup location is Little Torch Key, FL (uShip gave error when putting in LTK). Drop off is Oxnard, CA. Flexible on pickup and drop dates.
Boat is a 1999 Dusky 256 with listed length of 25’ 6” and width of 8’. Actual length is closer to 27/28’ from tip of bow to motor. Boat has listed weight of 3800 pounds dry, but will be higher with repower from 2 to 4 stroke, added electronics, outriggers, anchors, and other miscellaneous gear. I estimate weight to be in the 6000+ pound range.
Trailer is a 1999 Performance, galvanized steel, 10,000 pound rated, dual axle which has just been overhauled - new axles, new hubs, new seals, new electric brakes, new bearings, new races, new tires, new wiring, spare tire. Tail, turn, brake, and running lights all work. Trailer uses 7 pin wiring harness. Trailer length from coupler to end is 36’ long and 8’6” wide.
Google maps shows distance from exact pickup to drop off location via I10 to be 2934 miles.
