Documentation

We were expected to print out the loading documentation, which is fine for most people, but not when you are in a rural location with minimal solar power and occasional internet. It shouldn't be assumed that everyone is hooked up 24/7. Also when the 40kg sack of seed was picked up it was thrown into the back of a totally empty truck-7ton +,to roll around,so I am grateful it arrived intact.

76 5'x5' Round bales of Tifton 85 Grass Hay

I recently used UShip to bid out the hauling of 76 large round bales of hay. This website put me in direct contact with a large number of commercial trucking companies and enabled me to book my hay hauling quickly and easily. I was impressed by their handling of credit card payments. I recommend the use of this website to anyone looking to get just about anything hauled anywhere. No longer are ...

720 bags of wheat, 60lbs each

Every business needs to be careful with their money, and my small business is no exception. The price to ship a truckload of wheat from the mill in Montana to our bakery in suburban Kansas City had risen so dramatically in the last 3 years that I finally decided to see if I could do something about it. The distributor we use to warehouse our wheat had always arranged for shipping, but instea ...

First time shipment

I had a skid of bulk grain to be shipped from the prairies and as a first time shipment I wasn't sure how everything was going to work out. I couldn't find dry shipment in the time frame I needed but the guys at Diamond Enterprise worked wonders. As they only provide open transport they took the extra care and time to double shrink wrap the pallet and double tarp it. All went well and the shipmen ...

U-ship rates

I believe that the rates that the U-Ship company charge their service providers is too high. I Believe that the middle man in any situation should not make more than 5%, Especially when they do not have to even touch the goods. The service i received from speedbump05 was excellent four stars all the way.

hay tn to ga

Shipped 300 bales of hay from TN to GA- booked with the first person that offered a quote in my range. The transaction was smooth- everything went perfectly as planned.

Great first time experience!

We are a horse rescue that was trying to get hay shipped to us. This was not only our first time using Uship but also having hay shipped in. I am so greatful I came across this site, I'm not sure what we would have done without it! Everyone's bids were very reasonable (almost half price from other bids we had been given) and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The company we ended u ...

Moving Hay...animals hungry

I have a farm in Michigan...hay prices in my area are outrageous. My horses and cows needed food, so I went search for reasonable hay prices. I found 80 round bales, weighing 800 a piece, now I needed a transporter. My schedule didn't allow me to run back and forth to deal with this. I posted on uShip and Steve made a bid...my animals are now eating and happy. What else could you ask for? Gr ...

semi load of small bales of hay

I am very pleased with this service provider on this shipment. He took very good care of the hay while in route was easy to work with and was very patient. He even purchased a larger trailer last minute before hauling my load to accomadate my needs. That was surprising. Will definitly be using and recommending him in the future. Uship put me in network with many service providers and by charg ...

The Killer 800lb. Bales of Alfalfa

Raising livestock without a flatbed trailer has really been a difficult experience. With the large amounts of feed we go through, I am always ordering large quantities of hay, usually at ridiculous prices because of delivery fees. Last week I found a crazy deal on some good quality HUGE alfalfa hay bales. I was ready to order away, until I learned that the supplier didn't deliver. I was about t ...

Specialized Horse Feed

This is the second time I've used uShip to transport a specialized equine feed. In both instances the service provider provided impeccable communication and service. uShip provides a much needed and valuable service. I'd recommend uShip to those that are in need for such services...

Hay

This shipper was right on the job, on time, worked hard to accomplish a good shipping. We shipped approx. 18 tons of hay. Very satisfied with speed of contact, shipping speed, information about where load was, and every aspect of the shipping. Great job! Would highly recommend and will use again.

Transporter Extraordinaire!

Tim and Thompson Transport shipped 200 bales of hay from western PA to MD (Annapolis area). The hay is is supplemental feed for my horses. Tim gave us a great bid and is a real class act. The hay came from my Mom's farm and Tim helped load and unload, as well as showing up exactly on time, communicating frequently, and conducting the transaction in a very professional and friendly manner. Thanks t ...

East shipment of hay

I put an ad for hauling a load of hay for my horses and had a hauler within 24 hours. This is my second experience with uShip and both times have been very positive. This is a great resource to link shipper to hauler without going through commercial line-haul companies.

Hungry Horses Needed Hay Quick!

After searching the internet for hay for my horses, I finally located some about 100 miles North of me. We were in dire need due to the drought in 2006, and an armyworm infestation that wiped out all of our remaining grass. The hay was reasonably priced and located along the interstate. It was going to be easier to hire someone experienced with large trailers, than for us to take a chance hauling ...

Great experience shipping Hay

I was desperate for hay for my cattle. I had a bad experience with another shipper and put me in a bind. Listed with Uship in the morning and got a response by 9:00am, Hay was loaded by 1:00pm same day and delivered by 6:00pm all in one day. The Shipper was Iron Horse (sgrem). He is very professional and detailed and responsive. He really helped me out when I was in a bind. This is the kind ...
