Press was located in Missouri and the price from freightquote was a bit more than I could afford. Halvorsen Express was the low bid and was able to pick up and deliver the press faster than I had expected. There was absolutely no damage to the equipment and I was informed of pick up and delivery. All in all I was very please with the service they provided.

My advise is to try to find a "little guy" who can take your shipment, the freight brokers really can't guarentee anything or make anything happen. JMHO

U-ship provides a free-enterprise forum for interstate delivery of goods. Very useful service. We prefer U-ship to scheduled truckers because the small, privately owned companies who bid on trucking assignment are more competitive than scheduled carriers and more important, they don't damage goods like scheduled carriers.
