Southern Star Transport has been running since 2011 We currently provide Car, Animal and General item Transportation, Our fleet consists of a Daf 7.5ton horse box , Mercedes Sprinter 3.5ton horse box, Iveco Euro Cargo Recovery Vehicle, Vauxhall Astra Dog Van and a Ford Transit with various trailers at our disposal. All vehicles are 2 man crew at all times and have training in various applications. We are covered buy £10,000 Goods in Transit and £2m in public liability. We are registered with APHA (Animal and Plant Health Agency) to carry all forms of livestock anywhere in the UK. All employees who deal with livestock have had the necessary training and experience to handle the animals in a safe manner and always work withing company regulations and in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No. 1/2005 (The regulation) on the protection of animals during transport. All company bids are a total price with no hidden charges.
