Johnson's Towing was established in 1967 and has been veteran owned since 1985. Our primary business is the towing and recovery of passenger cars,light, medium and heavy duty trucks as well as watercraft transport. The vehicle combination we plan to use for most of the uship work is a 2004 F-350 4x4 crew cab dually diesel. This truck has suspension modifications to help with carrying a load as well as upgraded steering components. It is equipped with a tow hitch that accepts ball sizes from 1 7/8, 2 and 2 5/16. It also has a fifth wheel and goose neck ball in the bed. The trailers for this power unit are a 32 foot flat deck with a 9 foot dovetail for loading and an 8,000 lb winch. This trailer can legally haul a load up to 20,000 lbs. The other trailer is also a goose neck with a dump bed. The bed dimensions are 6 feet wide, 14 feet long with 4 foot high sides. This trailer also has ramps for loading wheeled or tracked vehicles. It can legally haul 10,000 lbs.
