Stokes Creek, LLC, of Hampstead, MD & operated by Steve Pelham, is a one man operation livestock transportation company. I have been hauling horses, sheep & goats for 7+ yrs, & generally transport within a day’s travel time (about 500 mi) of Maryland, farther if needed. I utilize a '03 F350, 4x4 dually crew cab truck and haul a 34 ft '06 Dreamcoach 2+1 straight load gooseneck trailer which is 86"H, 8 ft wide: 2 rear stalls (46"Wx10'L, removable divider) with ramp; 8'x8' front box stall with 5' side ramp; and 8'x8' dressing room/storage area. The trailer has Rumber flooring, fully insulated with fans in the horse area for their comfort, plenty of vents, 48 gallon water tank, and padded sides and divider. Every horse is treated as if they were my own. I stop every 3-4 hours to check their welfare and give water to monitor intake. Hay is in front of them at all times.
