Going from the NE to Austin, TX? Take the Whale!

I have a 1968 Airstream Ambassador, 28' long, named The Silver Whale. She's a little gem, and more than roadworthy. Good tires, bearings, brakes & working lights, fully registered and insured. I've towed her myself throughout NY and CT. I've had 2 different RV checks show that bearings and wheels are in good shape. I asked one RV repairman just back in October point blank, "would you drive this trailer to California today," and he said, "without question, yes, I would." But we're not going to California. We're going to Austin. And we need to be there by next week. The timeframe is short, I know. Are you already en route to Austin? If you can take her tomorrow... she's all ready. The photos show her last summer at an RV park. She's currently in a large, paved driveway that is easy to access. Snowy pic shows it. My name is Laine and I'd probably be following you in my Ford Focus, known as Foki. Or we can go ahead of you and would await your arrival in Austin. We're going to an RV park and would like to be backed into our spot. I've been to the site before and there is plenty of clearance and the spots are big.
