Buyer does not want it towed out to Chicago. He wants it placed on a trailer for transport.  

Hi there, During our stay in Nashville, we will need to move it around the city approximately 2-3 times a day (for 2-3 days). Could you include this in your quote? This is what we are thinking: *DATE TBD* Depart Richardson, TX: April 9 Arrive to Nashville: April 10 or 11 (not sure if it take more than one day to arrive) Move airstream around Nashville: April 11 Move airstream around Nashville: April 12 Move airstream around Nashville: April 13 Depart Nashville: April 14  

 

 

I am looking for someone to tow my trailer on that Sunday the 23rd. I would be able to follow you from the location in Austin to the location in Azle. It would be great if the transporter is familiar with leveling and parking travel trailers. Thank you.  

 

I would prefer someone with at least a 3/4 ton axle (although it can be towed with a 1/2 ton). I have stabilizers to, so towing is a breeze.  

I am looking to have transported a 31 foot airstream camper trailer that has been stationary for the past 10-15 years and it is not roadworthy to be hauled by its hitch. I would be looking to transport this via a large rollback, 5th wheel trailer that it could be rolled up on from ground level, or a lowboy trailer. I am not sure of any other types of trailers that this would be able to be transported by, so any and all input in the most conveinent method of transport would be appreciated.  

 

Airstream needs to make TWO stops. Upon leaving the RV park in Jackson, MI the Airstream trailer needs to go 15 miles down the road to the RV dealer to have the brakes, bearings, and tires checked to be certain all is ok for the trip to Texas. This service call will last approximately 2 hours. Following this stop, the trailer needs to go to Airstream Corporation, in Jackson Center, OH, Zip 45534, for a full check up. The trailer MUST be AT Airstream by 7am on May 1st. This check up will last between 4-8 hours, and possibly longer if any unknowns are found. I do not believe there will be any problems found, this trailer is in perfect condition...this is all just preventative. Following the stop in Jackson Center, OH the trailer will come to Austin, TX (home). Thanks! -jason

Two vintage airstreams being picked up very near the same location. Looking for someone who can pull them behind on a flat bed. Could either be transported or pulled behind a truck, but grabbing both of these at once would be fantastic if at all possible. Thanks for your time, look forward to your bid. Units weigh 2750-3100 lbs/ea and have a tongue weight of about 550 lbs.  

This Airstream is currently in a state of rebuild. There is a new A frame and coupler being welded on currently, but the aluminum shell is not currently attached to the chassis. A flat bed would be preferred as there are other things that need transported with the trailer. I do have someone who can get the shell anchored onto the chassis though, and this would make the trailer towable with temp lights (I have temp lights you can use). Since there are no current plates on the trailer, it would be best for a flatbed. I am very flexible on time, and the welding will be finished this weekend. Once we set a time up to move it, it will be a short 3 hour drive for you.  

These are 2 older Airstream trailers in great shape, but need to be transported on 1 flatbed, or a rollback and tow the 1962. I prefer both on a trailer. The lengths given should be overall and I've towed 2 of these on a flatbed car hauler and they will fit on a 40' trailer. You can overlap the tongue- one will fit under the body of the other. Needs to get to the port in Galveston safely.  

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE BIDDING. These are 2 Airstream type trailers that are 22' and 19' in length. If you have a flatbed with a ramp on one end that folds up, count on needing some extra for possible tongue extension and allow for about 44'. If your flat bed has no vertical obstructions and you can over hang the rear of one trailer, you can probably get away with a 40-42' flat bed, as long as the tires and axle are on the deck and able to be tied down forwards and back. The above photo shows a similar set up, but with a 22' and a 16' trailer on top of my 32' car hauler. By pulling the first trailer over the hitch and by extending the ramps and properly securing the rear trailer, I was able to load 38' on a 32' decked flatbed. These can be towed and moved around, and the 19'er can be towed behind a roll back if you can get the 22 on top of it. These need to be secured properly, without having straps thrown over the top or attached to the aluminum body anywhere on the trailers. You can attach to the axle and pull it front and rear, and the 19'er can be attached to the front a frame and the rear frame/bumper which is exposed. The 22 can only be attached to the axle and
