CHANGE IN DATE DUE TO WEATHER - 9:00AM ON THE 28th PICKUP IN CHESHIRE. You will need to pick up in Cheshire, CT at noon on Dec 26th and follow me back to Kutztown, PA. It is about 3.5-4 hrs run. This is a legal load - no permits required. We will be doing the speed limit taking our time. At about 225 miles, your fuel cost should be about $90. I feel my target of $300 is very fair for a few hours.
The trailer is a 2007 tri-axle with electric over hydraulic disc brakes so you will need an electronic brake controller in your tow vehicle. The trailer can either be pulled with a pintle or 2 5/16 ball hitch. The trailer will have a CT in-transit tag. The trailer weight is 1775 lbs and the boat is 8950lbs plus any fuel and the shrink wrapping. Therefore, I will want to know the specs of your tow vehicle to ensure it can handle minimum of 12,000 lbs - so if your truck doesnt have the right engine/rear ratio, dont bother bidding.
