Shipper did an excellent job of communicating ahead of time and was very flexible concerning packing materials to be shipped. Everything arrived on time an in the same condition it was in when it left.

This was the worst customer service experience of my life. They held my chair hostage for 8 weeks after promising a 3 week delivery. They didn't return calls, gave me wrong information, forgot to move the chair for weeks at a time, and didn't take any responsibility. A broker hired a broker who hired a shipper and no one would be accountable. Transit Systems was the shipper that took the least accountability for Bekins who did nothing for weeks at a time. I would NEVER hire them again.

Response from TransitSystems: This customer's order was NOT held hostage; no one forgot to move the customer's chair, and most importantly, no guarantee was offered in terms of timing; in fact, we provided [verbally and in writing] information to the contrary before anything took place- as brokers, our shipment times are ESTIMATED.

Badly damaged due to negligence, lost for several weeks, found, then lost again. Refused to communicate w/ me.Significant misrepresentations"offer to refund all costs" then did not. Still awaiting call back and/or refund. BEWARE, I am now looking at over $6000.00 to repair 4 pieces of furniture ans 6 chairs.

Response from TransitSystems: This customer's shipment was damaged in transit, yes. We absolutely offered to refund the customer's money at one point though we were under no obligation to do so, but we were specificially told that "the money was not important", as this customer earns $300,000 a year per his conversations with us. We will not be communicating with this customer due to his coarse language, attitude, and verbal threats. He is dealing with the insurance company at this point to finalize his claim.

Everything went without a hitch.
The only thing I missed was where to check for insurance. I had already accepted the bid and couldn't go back. Otherwise everything was well managed, picked up and delivered in great shape as promised.
