I am a 32 year Army Soldier, retired November 2019. I do this kind of stuff for friends all the time and can usually afford to do it for less than most because it's probably in conjunction with travel I already had to do anyway - so I'm just happy to offset the price of fuel. I have a nicely equipped 2006 Dodge Mega Cab with a Cummins Diesel engine that I bought new. I have a top of the line 10,000+ bumper pull hitch, and am probably going to install a gooseneck ball soon. I've moved my own household goods dozens of times.
