We are a NY based professional owner-operator boat transport company. Our efforts are focused on transporting your boat on time and safely. By offering our customers in depth details of the boat delivery, preparation and all aspects of the project we maintain an open line of communication, resulting in successful deliveries and happy clients. All loads are transported on a tractor-trailer. We transport power and sail boats on hydraulic trailers, low boys, or belly trailers and can accomdate a load up to 55' long and 40,000 pounds. Boats can be hauled in or out of a cradle, or in some cases on their own trailer. All of our equipment is designed to adequately and safely support your boat and its accompanying structures such as a fly bridge or mast. We transport boats mainly on the eastern seaboard but as far west as Texas and into Ontario, Canada. We carry annual insurance coverage of up to $500,000.00 cargo & $1 million liability. The Service Provider misrepresented themselves, their business or their services QUESTION FROM SHIPPER ON 1/7/09 STATED THAT THEY WILL BID, AND IF I ACCEPT I WILL LOCK IN PRICE. I ACCEPTED, WAS EMAILED A CONTRACT, AND NOW HAVE POSSIBLE CHARGES I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF AHEAD OF TIME. I NOW FACE POSSIBLE "DEAD HEAD" CHARGES, FUEL SURCHARGE, AND 4% ADDED FOR CREDIT CARD. I CAN'T ACCEPT THIS.

I amended the contract to withdraw all of the terms that the shipper had an issue with. When you book a boat 4 months in advance it is possible that the price of fuel will change or that we would be re-routed due to road construction. The low price given was based on the availability of the truck having a back haul and shipper could not at that time commit to a date. The credit card fee could be avoided if he paid by check. Even though all items were removed shipper still chose not to go use us

These people know what they are doing. Allison does not leave much to chance and will get the job done. The driver was very cooperative, too. I lucked out in getting these people.

My rating for Lockview a stright 10!. They were excellent in communication and very professional on the phone. Working with Allison at Lockview we organized the move, while I was 10,000 miles away in China. Everystep of the way I received updates as to the progress of the move. Also, received feedback from everyone Lockview came in contact with during the move. (marina, boatyard etc.)all stated that Lockview was amongst the most organized and professional haulers they had seen. Thanks B Adams MI

Shipment was delivered in a very professional manner, no damage was found, to the best of my knowledge. Timing was a bit early from request, but worked out in the end. I would use this firm again. All communications were very helpful, and they were pleasant to deal with as well. Good job Allison and crew, much appreciated.

The shipper was excellent that obtained all the required permits efficiently. The truck arrived on schedule with an experienced driver who was able to complete loading without any problems. Delivery was on time and unloading done properly. This is a company that has the expertise to move large boats efficiently.

Lockview gave a gold medal performance. My sailboat shipment from New Bern, N.C. to Ontario, Canada was completed with the utmost care and precision. I was kept informed of the transportation process at all times, their timing for pickup, meeting at customs and delivery to my local marina was impeccable. My opinion is that Lockview is a "Pride in Performance" company that ranks customer satisfaction as paramount. Excellent work by Alison and driver Walt, Thanks Guys for the great job.
