The airframe, wings, and empennage are all built but the wings and tail surfaces are not currently attached to the airframe. There are four wings of a plane. They cannot be stacked vertically so the width of 9'2" is an issue. We are planning to wedge a Mattress/Foam under one side to prop it up and essentially bring it under 8'5" to bring it under the width limit.
Once the truck is there, we will start loading the wings. We will put one wing, wedge something under one side, then put a mattress on top to protect the top surface and then stack another wing on it and so forth.
The pick up location is an airport hangar so fitting a truck there shouldn't be an issue and the drop off location is also an airport hangar so no issues there either.
I'm flying out of Troy to Santa Clara on the 28th Jan and will return on the 30th Jan. So I'll be there to load it up and will be in Troy to help unload it.
