Despite the above sizes, the sofa and chair can be partially broken down. The backs and arms (sides) can be unbolted by accessing the inside of the items through zips in the bases.
They can be moved in pieces then and re-assembled at the destination. It will require a few spanners (looks like 12 and 14mm but can't be precisely sure). The weights given are for the fully assembled items with cushions on and each part should be significantly lighter, probably still requiring two people to move though.
The destination is a first floor flat so will require negotiating one flight of stairs with a door at the top with a 90 degree turn into the flat at the top of the stairs. This should not be too difficult if the items are disassembled.
It will be necessary to liaise with the occupier of the Edinburgh property to arrange a time to deliver. The pick up in Blackburn should be very easy/flexible to arrange.
