Cheap Sailboat Transport Services

Hi, apologies to those who submitted quotes last time. Due to the storage yard having no space I was unable to accept. Storage has now been arranged so looking to get the boat moved ASAP. Can be towed by car. Trailer will need to be 62 inches across to accomodate the bilge keels. I can be on hand to assist with the move with more than 1 person. Boat can be easily pivoted and winched to get it on to a trailer. At the other end the boat will be unloaded on to a storage yard.

not sure of trailer it is twin axle, built in 2010 by rs but has not been used recently. probably better to check it or piggy back it  

 

 

 

the brake is currently not functional but the trailer can be towed just not road legal.

Depending upon when arranged I will be available to lower the mast and help loading, as well as unloading. Upon arrival at destination, which is residential, ideally it will be craned off onto sleepers ready for fitting out The mast is approx. 30'  

 

The yacht in on its own maker-supplied road trailer (4 wheel), which is roadworthy and serviced. The mast sits on top for transport and overhangs the boat by about 1m at each end. Measurements are as follows: length overall 10.2 metres, including mast overhangs. Length from tow hitch to back of the rudder 9.2 metres. Length from tow hitch to the rear end of the mast 10.2 metres. Overall height of load 3.2 metres. Combined weight of boat and trailer 2,600kg. The address given for collection is a private address in Anglesey and the delivery address is a private marina in Northern Ireland. It is assumed that the best route is via Holyhead to Dublin ferry and then by road north to destination. Cairnryan to Larne is another possibility. I am assuming that there are no customs issues with using the Dublin route, since the boat is UK VAT paid and would only be transiting Republic of Ireland for delivery to a UK address? I am looking for quotes inclusive of time, mileage and ferry costs please. Thank you.

Flexible on dates. Anytime in June or maybe July. Would ideally need about a weeks notice to arrange the marina's boat lift/crane at either end. Assistance not required for load/unload as marinas at either end can provide this. Boat is metal and can sit on it's own keels on the trailer. Mast is 14m long and would be unstepped and securely strapped on deck by the marina (height listed above includes the mast thickness).
