About Me
I am an oncology nurse and have worked for University of Missouri Health Care for 40 years. My different roles within nursing include staff nurse, head nurse, director of nursing education, clinical nurse specialist, and associate director of the cancer center. Currently, I am working part time as a research nurse in a breast cancer research project. Sadly, my husband of 35 yrs died 2 1/2 yrs ago. I have 3 lovely adult stepchildren and 1 son. I am happy to say they are all successful, working and paying taxes. I am a huge sports fan of the Mizzou Tigers. My favorite spectator sports are football and basketball and I have season tickets to both. My personal sport is golf and started playing when I was 7 yrs old. I should be better than I am but marriage, career, children all seemed to get in the way. I have a cat named Tigger that keeps me company. I thank God for all the blessings in my life and owe my happiness to my Almighty. (The pic of me was taken in Italy a year ago.)
