ALB is the best. They were professional, on-time, very communicative, friendly, and - probably most importantly - very careful with my belongings. They called me several times on the way to the pickup and delivery to give me status updates. I know it's difficult to know who you can trust online. You can trust ALB with your belongings. They are honest people who work hard for their money. Stop looking at other providers and go with these guys. You won't be disappointed.

The shipper told me he would use an enclosed trailer. He called day-of to say he had to use an open trailer and I made it clear that the pallets had to be secured to the trailer and tarped for rain. They were not secured or tarped and he lost some of the merchandise on the highway. He would not reimburse for the lost goods or return phone calls. Do not use this shipper.

I never told him it would be in an enclosed triler. He claimed the merchandise was banded to the skids. I asked for a bill of lading showing the value of the merchandise and was told there was none. He refused normal cargo value but could not prove what was in the box. My question is how did he determine value when he did not know what was in it? Do not ship for this guy unless he can prove what is in the boxes. No insurance company will pay over $0.60 cents a pound with out proof of value.
