I am no longer able to accommodate this shipment While I wish the shipper well. Indeed, I was given dimensions of the pallet, which I forwarded on to LTL carrier. Carrier arrived, only to find that the freight, which was fragile marble countertop overhung the pallet that was built by nearly two feet on both sides, causing real freight damage risk, since with a weight of over 4000#, the freight would have to handled with forklift, and very unlikely to be handled with forklift without damage. Too late to find alternative hot shot carrier.

I posted a picture of a similar shipment, & included this Additional Information regarding this shipment (which was ignored by the shipper): These will be fragile finished quartz/stone countertops on a specialized A-Frame for shipping. Would prefer a direct shipment (last-on, first-off) with no additional handling/transfer stations prior to delivery. Flatbed trailer (uncovered) is OK. We do ship special/fragile goods, and try to clearly represent what we are shipping in fairness to all.

The service provider is not able to accommodate this shipment The Service Provider sent a carrier that would not accept the shipment. This shipment was time critical and other arrangements had to be made, as the Service Provider was unable to provide a timely solution.

Shipment was picked up on time. Delivery was a couple days later than anticipated, but still on schedule for our requirements. Delicate shipment was handled carefully and as agreed!
