The customer misrepresented the shipment, and I cannot service it The weight of the piece was heavier than advertised (almost double). I wanted to stack the bar on a dresser that we were going to pick up, but due to the extra weight, I didn't want to risk the safety of the dresser.

Their communication is top notch. They also took great care in packing and loading two valuable pieces of furniture. My clients were happy and so was I. I would use them again if at all possible.

The service provider is not able to accommodate this shipment The service provider was great, but felt the item was too heavy to safely accommodate, so we both politely agreed to cancel the transaction.

It's not that we felt the item was too heavy, the piece was listed as being "100lbs". We planned on stacking it on a dresser, but when we showed up to load the bar, it was actually 200+ lbs and we didn't want to jeopardize the safety of the dresser to accommodate the bar. Both pieces needed to go cross-country, and since the dresser came first and was properly described, it received priority.

DO NOT USE THIS SHIPPER! This shipper tried to pressure me and my client into giving him the payment code for the Book It Now shipment prior to job completion (agains protocol). After falling for his "engine trouble" sob story I loaned him some gas money to complete the job. He has never paid me back and won't return calls or e-mails. I imagine he will get kicked off Uship soon as I've filed a formal complaint. He's a thief and a liar.
