Customer could not reach me in a reasonable period of time Response from Tom G.: Jakehauling or JR Trucking responded to my cancelling the shipment with "Customer could not reach me in a reasonable period of time". The fact of the matter is that once JR told me he had a breakdown and could not pick up my shipment on time, he never responded to my emails, multiple text messages of voicemail messages left on two different numbers. I waited more than 4 days for a response. So I really don't think his statement is a true reflection of what really happened. Communication is key.
