I had to get my boat gearbox from Cheshire to the midlands urgently.It was collected the following morning at 9.30am and delivered at 11.30am

Having bought this engine on ebay the choice was drive down or find a delivery service at a reasonable cost, my first bid auction i messed up by transposing the collection and delivery addresses, but as soon as i listed it properly, within minutes I had an acceptable quote. Astra Move did the job on time and at the agreed price, can't fault them and will definitely use this service again.

Shipping a boat (Parker 2120) a distance of 1400 kilometers half way across the country is fraught with stress for the shipper. In this case., Bill Belair gave the professionaism that only comes with years of experience and that old fashioned helping hand that cannot be denied. I would strongly reccommend his services and endorese his company.

I paid an auction fee + an unknown fee to uShip. I was informed, out of the ~$450 total price that uShip took an ~$150 fee from the service provider.

I cannot speak for a large shipment, but if you have one pallet you need picked up from your home, these folks are the ones to use. Fed-ex wanted 3 1/2 times as much for the same freight shipment.

I needed to have a vintage OB motor picked up in N. Calif and delivered to Port Townsend Washington. The PO of the motor was unable to palletize it as it is 60" long and won't fit a standard pallet. So this carrier picked up the motor mounted to an engine stand with wheels and delivered it for a reasonable price. The willingness of the carrier to do this made the deal possible.
