Updated listing with pictures. Moving from 3BR house (rental). Using 2 BR with 1 BR as office (1 adult and 1 youth). No large appliances. A majority of items will be boxed. Moving to a 3 Br apartment on 3rd floor. Largest items are 2 beds, 2 dressers, TV, couches, small dining table, and end tables. I pack. You load/unload.  

 

 

Hi - We are looking to move our 3 bedrooms from NY to FL. This DOES NOT include living room, dining room, etc - it is 3 bedrooms sets plus small office plus boxes (approx 30) and one elliptical exercise machine (150lbs). 2 Beds are kings one is queen. All have headboards, night stands, dresser, etc. Some furniture is very high quality and will need to be wrapped carefully. Tractor Trailer will not be able to turn into driveway which is 300 feet long. Need box truck probably. Must be delivered within 3 days of pickup.

Only need assistance with large bulky items. 5 pc family room set, 3 beds, single, double and king, 2 dressers, 3 night stands,filing cabinet, 3 desks with chairs and a couple odds and ends. Would prefer early day for pickup, delivery is less than 10 miles. Thank you  

We have a three bedroom home but only have 1 bedroom with furniture. We are not taking a lot of our furniture either (we are selling it), since our new home in SC is partially furnished.  

This is a relativey simple move. We have already done a significant amount of the moving required. There are three floors for pickup and delivery including the basement. Over the course of the last three weeks we have already boxed and moved all of the fragile items, knick knacks, toys, clothes, and books. 90% of the kitchen items including glasses, dishes, pots and pans, silverware and food stuffs have been moved. There is minimal boxing and moving required. The appliances; refrigerator, freezer, washer and dryer do not need to be moved. Need to move primarly large furniture; two sofas, two love seats, five end tables, kitchen set, dining room set, two hutches, three book cases, computer desk, chest of drawers, three beds, three tvs, stereo and two speakers, area rugs and odds and ends in the basement. Given the time and supplies saved by the minimal packing required We are looking for a fair price that takes the work we have already done into account.

UPDATE: This move needs to happen on Sunday, August 28th. We have (2) houses moving into (1) house (77088 / Bear Creek). House #1 (77023 / Downtown-UH) is 1BD, with VERY MINIMAL furniture, boxes, and some tools. House #2 (77042 / Westchase)is 2BD, with standard/minimal furniture, about 100 boxes (all medium size). There are NO APPLIANCES to move.  

Will provide pictures if necessary....we had a bid for $1910, but it expired before we could answer....can anyone match that price? For comparison purposes, we have an estimate from ABF that indicated we would need 19 linear feet...the ABF Truck is 28 x 8 x 10. To save money, we have no problem packing and unloading the container ourselves.  

1 BMW motorcycle, 1 50cc scooter and a Jeep Cherokee  

total estimated weight from another quote is 6202 lb. total item caount was 178. Include one stop at a storage facility within 10 miles of destination for drop off of some items. Entire house is already packed and ready to go

Moving 2 Bedroom 2 story attached home with a 2 car garage household furniture and goods from North San Diego, CA. to North Palm Beach, Florida. 1,500 sq. ft. House is full but we are packing everything ourselves and moving them down to the 1st floor. We are also leaving a lot behind. Therefore No stairs, we are not taking any HEAVY kitchen Appliances such as the Refrigerator or Diswasher and we are qlso not taking the Laudry Washer or Dryer. Items are going to be unloaded at a 10' x 20' Storage Facility. A 24 ft. Truck should be adequate. The Storage facility will be Street level, so no climbing stairs or hauling in and out of elevators. Loading and Depature dates are unfortunately tight and NOT flexible, but the Arrival and Unloading date for the delivery to Florida is flexible. Shipper may help with loading and unloading or may not. We will accordingly employ additional outside help if necessary. We (party of 3) will also be there to help with the loading. Only quotes from reliable, experienced, shippers with a good record of positive feedbacks please.  

Retiree move -- slimming down from a 3 BR ranch: -> furniture is 2 bedrooms with 2 twin platform beds, 2 desks, & 5 dressers -- no mattresses; nook table & chairs; full dining set (large table, 6 chairs, hutch, & buffet); 2 bookcases & entertainment center (no sofas, chairs, or TV) -> household is personal effects, clothing, linens, workshop tools, paintings, china, sewing machine, garden tools, etc. -> optional: 1 compact vehicle (please quote with and without this included) Ideally would like help with packing. Fairly fixed pick up window, but flexible time frame for final delivery.  

Estimated weight of contents is 8500lbs.  

We are moving from a 2-story, 3 bedroom house (approx. 2100 sq ft) to a 1 1/2 story 4 bedroom house (approx. 2650 sq ft).  

Help!!! Mover just canceled our pickup at last minute (family emergency). Some items are antiques and fragile.  

 

Please give me a quote for this: I have everything pretty much packed already and stored in my garage. I just need someone to disassemble my furniture and load everything. My furniture includes: (upstairs: living) sofa, loveseat, recliner, two end tables. (upstairs kids room) bunk bed, dresser. (Master bedroom) - queen size bed, 5 drawer dresser, night stand. Downstairs living: two full size couches and recliner, coffee table, two end tables and 70 gallon fish tank. Downstairs (understairs): coffee table. Downstairs kids room: Full size bed, desk/hutch, 2 dressers and nightstand. 30 gallon fish tank. Garage: freezer. Deck: full size grill and patio set. Other minor packing needed, in garage/attic/understairs but majority is done, boxed and ready to go. Would like delivery ON 8/26 all furniture unloaded into their new respective rooms, I will unpack the boxes.  

I would like to start the move at 1:00 pm, or if this is not posible,as early in the morning as possible  

Looking to move some household items from fleetwood,nc to hampstead, nc...Time frame is 7/29 to 7/31 early am. Move is 317 miles door to door...all great easy hwy except 12 miles and that portion is not bad either. I do not have an exact box count so I am estimating high because I am 5 hours away and have no choice. Sorry just being honest! The furniture portion of the move is minimal and I believe pretty accurate. I would like furniture pieces protected to avoid damage. We are able to provide some loading assistance. If you bid please provide your cdl or some kind of info to let me know you are a reputable company. Thank you!!  

I have approx 120 already packed Home Depot, Medium, Large and small boxes. The majority are medium. They need to be brought to our new house in Florida.We will load and unload boxes. The pick up dates are July 24, 25 and part of the 26th. They need to be delivered on or around August 1 or 2nd. I also have a a 2010 VW Jetta that needs to be brought here as well.
