2 Bedroom House Moving Services

I live in a townhouse with a roommate and I'm basically just moving the master bed/bath, living room, and small office/kitchen stuff. I'm only moving it 8-10miles into storage. I have already gotten an offer for $160 but figured I'd give this website a try to see if I could do even better. I will be moving again shortly after this move, so any company who gives a good rate I will just use them again.  

moving from upstairs apt in Dana Point to 2 story house in Cedarpines Park (near Crestline in the San Berardino mountains.) Move will be large items I can't haul in my pickup truck. 600 lb safe being moved from downstairs garage to a downstairs garage. Driveway at destination is level entry and pull through.  

4500 lbs. furniture and Honda CRV. Driver must have pads, straps, and decking. Have local crew to load or assist.  

 

 

Selling everything in living room and other bedroom,just keeping one bedroom set, some office things, small dining room table and misc. boxes  

Most of the upstairs items will be moved to the truck by my crew  

I live on a farm with a locked gate. PUtrucks with 30' trailers barely fit going into my drive. 14' box trucks work best.  

 

 

Downsizing from a house to a small apartment. Basically just need personal possessions and a few furniture items moved(as detailed above). Estimated about 4300 lbs. Looking for prices for someone to pack furniture only (we will pack boxes and have ready), load, transport and unload all items. Insurance required and must have a covered truck. (no pick up truck quotes please :-)Looking for professional and dependable with references. Also want lump sum price as we are on a budget. (ie give quote for up to 5000 lbs.) Number of boxes are the actual amount within a box or two. Need items picked up in Georgia between June 24th through June 29th and must be delivered to Connecticut by July 3. Thank you! This is a house, but we are renting so the move will be more like an apartment move. We wont have any appliances to move, and everything that's in the house now was previously filling a 1 BR apt, so although I'm listing this as a 2 BR house, the amount will be more like a large 1 BR apt move. Looking for full service movers, to bring boxes, tape and pack up all of our stuff. Setting up bed/dressers, large items will be required at the destination. -2 dressers -2 queen sized beds -1 small desk -1 42 in' flat screen tv -1 2 seat couch -1 ottoman -1 tv stand -Electronics (stereo receiver, dvd player, DVDs) -3 lamps -1 open dresser/tv stand (no drawers, just shelves) -2 small closets full of hang-up clothes (will fit in 2 wardrobe boxes, we can always move what doesnt fit in boxes in our cars) -1 portable wardrode full of coats -1 small kitchen table with 4 chairs -1 small non-rolling desk chair -Kitchen tools (pots, pans, bowls, blender, crock pot, etc. Not too much stuff) -1 3 burner propane grill -various bedding and winter clothes that will probably fill 2 to 3 med-large boxes -2 24in TVs -A small bathroom should only be 1 or 2 boxes -This should be about  

 

We require household contents to be p/u June 20-25, then stored in YOUR warehouse until November, and transported to Marietta in Nov. We feel that our contents would require approx. 1/3 of a 53 ft semi-trailer. We will pay 1/2 upon p/u and remainder on delivery.  

 

I have a queen size Select Comfort mattress that is light weight & will be deflated of course.It is on a Select Comfort platform that breaks down into approx. 3x3 pieces.I kept the boxes it came in but may just take the mattress in the car with me.Also have an old dry sink. Books & magazines are packed in U-Haul book boxes & are included in the "small" box total. Only partly packed right now so these numbers are subject to change.Packing the larger boxes so they will not be overly heavy, I can still pick up most of them. I've sold my large sofa & overstuffed chair & ottaman & may be selling the dining room table & chairs.Also have a sewing table that collapses to 11" x 32" that I will pad & wrap so the collapsible extensions don't move. Have a 27" TV with DVD and VHS players in the TV and a 19" TV. The computers will be packed into their original boxes as will some of the counter top appliances. I knew I'd eventually be moving so I saved the boxes so the total on the boxes is probably too low. I wish to move between July 22-26.I work from home & need to be in Bham and set up to work by Monday July 27 to meet a month end deadline.  

 

I don't kow if I am moving into a 1 or 2 story home. I also have about 50 plastic 18 gallon tubs with lids that are stackable. They are packed with books and other items, in addition to boxes I will have with my clothing and kitchen items.  

apartment items mostly in wheeling wv, but we have other items near apartment of destination in DAYTON. Prefers only Saturday. Not flexible time  

 

I want to store the house goods for 2 months prior to delivery to final apartment in Virginia.  

I need to have my stuff shipped by 6/12/09. All belongings in the garage ready to load and will be dropped off in garage location, help will be provided at both locations. Must be insured.
