These boxes are in an interior basement of a single family house (no exterior door to the basement). The interior first-floor staircase down to the basement is about 15-20 steps. The steps to the front door of the house (for box removal) are about 10 (5 to each landing of the front outdoor garden). Or, if exiting the boxes from the back of the house, there are only three steps, which lead up to an alley way. There is a dedicated, off street parking pad for this residence there that can accommodate 3 passenger vehicles.
Upon arrival at the new residence to offload, the basement entrance is *outside*. There are approx. 7 steps from the sidewalk down to the exterior door of the extra-wide, custom basement door. The boxes will need to be placed in the rear of that basement. There are no steps within the basement -- only the 7 or so steps from the sidewalk down to the exterior door.
The total mileage is around 240. Quotes exceeding $1.50-$2.18/mi for this short haul route will not be approved.
