Started trucking in 1962, hauling logs in Oregon. then flatbed, dry van, refer, car hauler, lowboys. trucked in Alaska for 15 years trucking up the haul road from Fairbanks, some times Anchorage, to Prudhoe Bay. yep even on the ice..trucked out on the frozen ocean, up frozen rivers. Now trying to make it down here in the states. Have been up to 8 truck fleet. but.......now back down to 1 truck.. more better. My last steady run I had, was running produce from Salt Lake City to Fairbanks, and Anchorage. Before that was hauling cars and bumper pull trailers from there factorys.Wanting now to haul either cars or dry freight. The trailer that I hauled the cars and boats is a 90 Kaylen flatbed that we convereted into a car hauler, 45 foot bed with 13 foot beaver tail. the trailer axle was an air released slider. When you load or unload you release the axle slide it fowared and the rear of the trailer set right on the ground. I thought it wasn`t bad for a home built trailer. Can do...
