It will take me a day to get to Murfreesboro and assist packing and loading. Wings and tail need to be protected and secured during transit, heavy bubble wrap, foam and blankets combo needed. Wings cannot have other cargo stacked on top of. Fuselage will not need to be wrapped but will need to be strapped down Prefer shipper have light aircraft shipping experience. Prefer enclosed trailer air ride equipped or combination open and enclosed trailer or van. I have exact dimensions of everything, all dimensions in this listing are in feet and inches and pounds. Wings off measure 15'-7 5/8" X 5'-4 1/2" X 9" Deep. Tail breaks down to three pieces: Forward Tail 10'-1" X 2'-2 1/2" X 3 1/4" Deep. Rear Tails 2( 4'-11 3/4" X 1'-7 5/8" X 3 1/4" Deep). Cabin height 6'-0", width 3'-1 1/2". I have accurate dimensions of anything else. Wing fuel tanks will have 0 gallons of fuel completely dry. There is no oil since there is no engine, Ready to book shipment.

This is for a used hot air balloon envelope that is packed away in it's storage bag. The purchase price is around $1K. Trying to decide if it is worth it if the shipping is going to be a factor in light of the purchase price. Most balloonist ship by ForwardAir and seller is estimating they will do it for 300-400. Just trying to find if this would be cheaper.

Wings are separate from the fuesalage, the tail section is broken off, the tail feathers have been removed as well. The damaged tail is not shown. In addition to the fuselage there are other subassemblies the biggest of which are the wings which are about 15 ft long and a canard which is about 12 ft long.
