This aircraft is on a new, converted, open boat trailer tied down taken apart. Needs to be shipped one way from cherry ridge PA airport to Auburn Maine airport. Just back up with a truck - Hook up and deliver the plane on the trailer. It has to be a good weather day to ship it as it's an open flatbed trailer. Plane will be ready after Sunday Jan 31 to ship. This was previously listed, but plane sale took longer than expected. It will be ready Sunday 31, 2016. Thank you!

The wings are fairly light and delicate, thin walled aluminum that have a curvature to them. They cant just be strapped down across lumber. It gets a little complicated. Typically they have to be crated/cradled,shipped up on edge. Strapped flat across a flat bed wouldn't do them any good after a few bumps.

This plane was scheduled for demolition due to it's age and the value of it's parts. It is now being stripped of it's engines and usable parts.When the wings are taken off and the plane dismanteled we need it shipped from the New Castle Delaware Airport to Bethlehem ,Pa. The plane will be in 5 parts. The 60 ft long ,9 ft wide and 10 ft high body that will sit on 2 support cradles , 2 wings each @ 22 ft long and 10 ft in the widest end , the tail fin will be cut off and should fit on the truck under the supported body and the 5th piece is the tail wing that is approx. 12 ft long and 8 ft in the widest part.
We run a SCUBA Diving 50 Acre Lake for sport divers and Training. Our plan is to re-attach the wings and sink this plane so it can be used as a underwater attraction and rescue trainer for our SCUBA Divers.We have many other attractions already sunk for our divers enjoyment and training. We need to know if the shipper will fit it all on one or 2 trucks. If one truck is used the wings could be put on edge and strapped to the sides of the body of the plane. Strapping needed.
