The shipment can be packed loose with wings against the walls or fuselage. The red airplane is an example, not actual shipment. The shipment would not include the trailer. Propeller and wings will be removed.
If you have heavy blankets or slings for the wings that would be good. May be combined with other freight.

Loaded over 20 MiGs to date. This simple move will require a minimum of a 40" gooseneck trailer. Fuselage and wings will load and sit as in the photos. These are the factory shipping stands. Load will fit legal and transport easily with a standard flat or drop deck semi trailer. I will load and unload, place straps and help driver secure aircraft.

These are the major airframe components to an airplane (2 wings, small aircraft fuselage, tail section, and a few small boxes). This aircraft is on a new, converted, open boat trailer tied down taken apart. Needs to be shipped one way from cherry ridge PA airport to Auburn Maine airport. Just back up with a truck - Hook up and deliver the plane on the trailer. It has to be a good weather day to ship it as it's an open flatbed trailer. Plane will be ready after Sunday Jan 31 to ship. DR-107 One Design. Wings are made of wood. Wings are single piece about 20' long and less than 5'wide. Fuselage thin wall chromoly. All of it is very fragile and needs to be packed, protected from abraison and secured with care. There will be additional boxes of parts including a glass cockpit canopy. Some parts will be loose. Need to provide proof of insurance coverage. Wings are located 12 miles away from main aircraft in storage So you will need to pick those up first. Need someone experienced with moving fragile items. Cannot overly stress fuselage with tie down straps.
