The pickup residence in Northridge is single-story, so all items are on the ground floor. The delivery residence in Carlsbad is two-story. We would like the movers to take the bookshelf and the credenza upstairs. The photo of the bookshelves shows three bookshelves, left, middle, and right. We are only moving one, the bookshelf farthest from you on the right in the photo, with the storage compartment at the bottom. The hutch top and bottom disassemble. A photo of the hardware is attached above. We would like the movers to disassemble it at the pickup point and re-assemble it at the delivery point. The grandfather clock disassembles so the clock can be separated from the base. The distance driveway-to-driveway between the two residences is 130 miles. The weights indicated for the items are only best-guess estimates.

There are 3 parts to clock. The main clock, a box with the inside parts (already packed) and the large main pendulum.

So aggravating to have a quote ONLY last 24 hours and if missed, CANNOT get back in touch with them!! i've missed 2 quotes due to false alarms with pregnant daughter going into labor. Require a mover who knows how properly prep a Howard Miller grandfather clock for moving including, but not limited to, using cloth towel for properly handling, removing and securing the weights and pendulum as well as properly securing the chains and chime bars etc. As this is extremely fragile it is of the utmost importance that this cannot be damaged, the requirement for properly prepping via Howard Miller requirements is required. Generator may very well be smaller than the dimensions provided as I chose a rough estimate

We need to experience movers for a grandfather clock that Hass to be blanket wrapped and the weights and pendulum removed from clock and pack separately and reassembled upon delivery and no New York. There are a total of 34 steps including the front porch involved on the delivery point.
