Cheap Boat Transport Services

 

Wooden boat, on quayside, no lifting facility on collection or destination site. Would need arranging.  

 

Narrowboat will be lifted out of the canal prior to collection at Northwich and left on land at the delivery point in Chorley.  

The radar equipment has been removed which makes the total height 4.9m  

 

 

 

Any south coast marina for access for sail to Jersey C.I.  

I put delivery between 6th and 13th November - but can be up to a week after collection date, whenever that is.  

Johnson 60hp outboard engine from GL7 1AY cirencester area will need a pallet to transport engine to Southampton So40 3fq area  

 

Boat will be on a new Extreme 2,600kg roller 4 wheel trailer. The trailer weighs 550kg, therefore the total load weight including boat is approx 2,389kg. The estimated total length of boat and trailer together is estimated as 9.5m. I assume the best route is from Brightlinsea to Northern Ireland via ferry to Belfast, then onward to Seaton's marina at Coleraine. The lane to Seaton's marina is hard to find, so i suggest a convenient meeting point at a lay-by on the main A2 road about 2 miles north of Coleraine, where I will meet the driver and lead to the marina from there.  

Pickup and drop off same day No overnight stops  

Trailer is currently not road worthy. Can be very flexible on moving dates.  

 

Height of boat needs to be checked. Collection from boatyard at Sutton Wharf, delivery to Queen Anne’s Battery Marina.  

 

Crane lift will be organized unless a suitable lorry with hiab is preferred.  

Boat will require lifting in and out the water both ends  

I need someone with a trailer and experience moving boats in and out of a slipway. This has to be delivered to the destination on the 12th January before 12 noon. It is booked in at the slipway. It can be collected anytime from Allington to aid on time delivery. There will be assistance at both locations to help load/unload the boat.
