4 Bedroom House Moving Services

 

 

The box counts are estimates only. I have not finished packing. However all of the couches except 1 and a majority of the boxes will only need to be moved into the garage of the move-to location since this is a temporary move.  

 

Large toys: Large plastic basketball hoop, small plastic slide, water/sand table, toy car, big wheel. Also a wedding dress in a large bag, 6 folding chairs and a large event tent about 12x16 (but it folds up). We recently had 2 moving companies give an in-home quote. Estimated 10,000 lbs.

I'm between houses and the contents of this storage unit is what is left over from a 4BR house that is not currently in my temporary apartment. This unit does NOT contain most bedroom furniture, beds with the exception of one twin sized, living room furniture, or dining room furniture. Heavy, bulky items in this unit include a treadmill, a refrigerator, a bowflex that is disassembled, a futon, patio furniture, garage and lawn equipment, living room end and coffee tables, and a 60" rear projection TV. The contents were packed, wrapped, and moved by a professional moving service. The storage unit is easily accessible for an 18 wheeler. The shipment needs to be transported 21 miles to a house where it will be unloaded in a 3 car garage.  

 

Drop off is a gated community. There are some additional items not listed. 2 Large Storage Shelves, weigh about 50 lbs each, still boxed.  

Total of boxes is a close estimate.  

 

 

I have (2) 10x12 storage buildings that need to be moved to a house in Fort Worth. Most of the inventory will just be put into a garage to be sorted by me later. So basically a pick-up and drop-off.  

We will pack up/unpack the house. All boxes are color-coded for destination rooms, and are all stacked in the garage or on the back porch. I have a bad back and cannot help load/unload the truck or move furniture out of existing rooms. Destination: floor 1: no steps, living room w/oak entertainment center, 1 office, washer/dryer, 6 foot freezer and 'garage stuff'. Floor 2: a couple of outside steps and four steps up immediately inside; this where most of the boxes/furniture go. Floor 3: four steps up from floor 2: two bedrooms and one office. Heavy furniture is refrigerator, washer, dryer, 2 (empty) tool chests and oak entertainment center. We will move crystal, plants open containers, etc. (Leaving everyday dishes/glasses to be moved.) Garage stuff includes 2 lawnmowers, patio furniture, chainsaw, etc.  

I loaded the storage unit myself. Most items are shrink-wrapped some things still need to be shrink-wrapped; and furniture pads a must. It took me two trips with a 26 ft truck. I certainly didn't jam the truck but in my opinion it will take more than the largest box truck. Unless making the trip twice. A lot for two guys probably need three. It is coming from a storage unit you can back up to. Home being delivered is a new home and a ranch so loading and unloading should be quick.  

I need to move all my furniture into a truck that will be parked outside the house. I do NOT need moving from my homw to new home. I only need someone to move my stuff from 2 floor house into a 16 foot truck outside.  

60% of furniture is in a storage unit 3 miles from the hosue where the remaining inventory is located. All items are being delivered to the same location  

 

 

Approximately 10,444lbs and 1492 cubic feet. Please add in pricing for loading/unloading as well. Please note window for pick up/drop off to accommodate a November 4th arrival at 59801.  

Also interested in white glove service to help,with packing odds and ends. Home has already been organized so mostly put things in boxes. Also wanting a binding bid.
