Cheap Airplane Shipping Services

Several possibilities:Trailer could be loaded onto a freight truck ( the prefered method . The other possibility is to tow it .  

This is the airframe for a two-place, all-metal homebuilt airplane project. The wings and tail will be removed from the fuselage and crated for shipment. The fuselage will be standing on its landing gear. The largest part (fuselage + engine) will weigh about 575 lb. The components need to be protected from impact and abrasion during shipping. The attached photo shows the kit before completion of the tail and flight controls. More accurate numbers will be provided to the carrier. Cautious handling of the airframe are important. Timing of the pick-up and delivery are flexible in the interest of a competitive rate.  

This Minimax ultralight is in Oregon but the owner can bring it up through the border whenever, on a weekend to Chilliwack, Rosedale, or any other place close to the Abbotsford area. What I am needing is someone that is coming up to Fort St John with a pickup that could meet the owner down there and bring it to Fort St John area for a reasonable price. This can't be done right away but I would like to find someone that is coming up here anyway and could see that it gets up here undamaged, it will fit in the back of a regular pickup and it will be all wrapped in plastic and padding so just a tarp would be nice to wrap around it. Hi I don't know why this wasn't put in the first time, but I'm not looking to ship out by June, that was only a mandatory to put in the shipment. I'M ONLY LOOKING FOR PRICE QUOTES right now. The vertical fin will be removed for shipment. I would prefer a lower deck trailer, preferably not a tractor trailer as the drop off is a residence with no ramp, and no room for a crane. I'd prefer a smaller truck if possible. I've recieved quotes from trucking companies going for $6000 for tractor trailer.
