Cheap Boat Transport

 

This is a 30ft wooden work boat.It is heavy.  

 

a long cardboard box containing 4 aluminium tubes.  

The trailer is perfectly sound but is unbraked, hence the need to transport  

pricing for a customer need flat bed trailer 3.5/4 tons  

 

 

 

The boat is a 1973 Mk1 Cornish Crabber 24 here are all the details about them http://www.yachtsnet.co.uk/archives/cornish-crabber-24/cornish-crabber-24.htm It is sitting on a twin axle trailer with dubious brakes and we think needs flatbedding or bigger The length from the tow hitch to the rear axle is 17 feet The width from outer edges of tyres is 95 inches wide The boat weighs just short of 2 tons not including the trailer so round 2.5 tons with.  

 

Looking for transport of 3 fireflies from West Kirby SC to Derwent Reservoir SC. Can provide triple stacker trailer from West Kirby but this would require returning as part of the trip.  

No great urgency, can be collected from Bangor Marina in NI or possible to move the boat to mainland UK for transport from west coast England/Scotland  

The photos are of an identical yacht. It sits on small bilge keels and the twin rudders. Not sure how safe it would be to transport while resting on the rudders.

There is a slipway at Denver, however the slipway at Stanley Ferry is out of action at the moment. I do not have a trailer.
