Transport two live trees in 45-gallon containers — each approximately 10 to 12 feet tall, 3 feet wide canopy spread, and 2.5-inch trunk caliper trees. [website URL removed] Freight Details: Two live columnar Oaks in 45-gallon containers, about 2.5-inch trunk caliper, approximately 10–12 feet tall each. Handling Requirements: Trees must remain upright or lightly angled (no laying flat). Use soft straps on the container lip and padded contact points on the trunk. Protect foliage with moving blankets, nursery tarps, or breathable covers to reduce wind exposure during transport. No stacking, no cross-docking, and no harsh tension on the trunk. Equipment: Open trailer, stake-bed, or flatbed truck is acceptable as long as foliage is protected from direct wind with blankets or tarp. Enclosed cargo van or box truck also suitable if height allows and the tree can be angled (but still upright) to fit a box truck. Liftgate or two-person crew helpful for unloading at destination.  

 

Shipping container, tie down straps and protective packaging need to be supplied and prepared for shipping by Transporter/Carrier upon pickup. Transporter /Carrier must provide Certificate of Insurance to me identifying coverage for item while it is in transit before executing shipping contract. Value of item is stated as $5,000. It is a vintage item that is not repairable or replaceable as parts no longer exist as it was manufactured in the 1990’s. Multiple carriers are not permitted. Solid wooden door pair. Doors do separate and are stackable for easier transportation. Each door measures approx. 18" wide and 95" tall. Pickups must be arranged during business hours Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm cst. (CLOSED SUNDAYS/MONDAYS).
