I have more details on the shipment. The fuselage has had the tail section removed and it is now a seperate peice about 6' long. The main fuselage has been attached to wheels in the back and uses the main aircraft wheel in the front so I am told it can be rolled around easily by one person. The total lenght (including tail peice) is 25 FT. With the rear wheels it is 7 ft wide. It is approximately 11 FT from ground to the top of the canopy.

The shipment can be packed loose with wings against the walls or fuselage. The red airplane is an example, not actual shipment. The shipment would not include the trailer. Propeller and wings will be removed.
If you have heavy blankets or slings for the wings that would be good. May be combined with other freight.

This is an airplane kit that was in three large crates which should stack to the above dimensions, and require some additional space for miscellaneous boxed parts and the cowling. Enclosed transport preferred, will need assistance loading as seller is 69 yrs. old.
Individual crates are 18.5x4x5.2, 10.5x4x2, and 15x3x4 (lwh)so a low enclosed trailer would be ideal. I just learned that the tops and sides of the two larger crates have been removed, so they will be more like pallate shipments. The largest appears to be on casters, and would need to be loaded nose first. Thanks!

Looking for someone with a rollback (no rails) that can move a disassembled aircraft fuselage from central Ohio to Kansas City. The wheels on the aircraft were placed in a piece of channel iron when previously moved in this fashion, since they sit right on the edges of the flatbed.

I have a Lancair IV-P kit plane with wings detached and miscellaneous parts that I want to move from Rancho Cucamonga, CA to Palm Springs International Airport, CA. It has no engine. Nose whell assembly may not be installed. I want to move it ASAP with out incurring additional charges. Price is very important. Width (elevators) are probably biggest issue as they measure approximately 133 inches wide and non-detachable.
See page 14 of attached pdf file for specs noting that engine is not installed. No hazmat materials. No fuel.
