US Army Retired, 62 years old, and own a 34 ft 5th Wheel JAYCO Designer ... My Pull Truck is a 2008 F250 Power Stroke Diesel FX4 complete with a Gooseneck, 5th Wheel and Class 5 Bumper Hitch....I Live in San Antonio, TX and pull all over the southwest..and will pull over the US..I have pulled from Charleston, SC to Alto, New Mexico to Port Huron Michigian and places in between..My wife and I are retired from the Army and the kids live out of state so we are free to travel and this is one way of doing it..Not trying to make a living at this just cover expenses and see the USA at the same time. Drive about 8-9 hours a day then motel it for the night. When we see something of interest.. WE STOP! Can speed it up if on a deadline...I feel it is better to be safe than sorry so I treat your trailer just as if it was my own..It's fun when you are pulling a good roadworthy trailer.
