Hi I'm Doug Knight. I am 58 and semi retired after 32 yrs in the grocery business. I was not a semi driver but have a lot of experience in the loading and delivery of goods. Not only do I know the shipping business but also have delivery and driving experience. I started out delivering papers at 12yrs old it gave me ambition early on. When I was 20 and married I had a hauling&landscaping business. Than I went to work for Safeway Dist and learned a lot about loading and shipping.I bought a 20ft flatbed trailer and hauled cardboard,cars and whatever. People came to me if they needed something moved or hauled. Have pulled a lot of rv's in my day. We had a tent trailer, 12'camper,26'pull behind and our latest a 38' fifth wheel that we lived in for a while.Just did a load of crates from Wellington,Co to Jamestown,Tn. Also have been doing some dog deliveries. Brought one dog from Seattle to Fort Collins,Co. I kinda roped my wife into driving the big stuff and now she loves it.
