The shipment listing was misrepresented and the service provider canceled The shepherds hut was described as being 5 ft wide and weighing in the region of 1400 kg, after travelling over 300 miles to do the job i measured it and in actual fact it was 8 ft wide and i estimate a weight between 2000kg and 2500kg, this has cost me £250 is there any way I can claim some form of compensation for this.

I did not cancel this booking. This provider has been communicating well and my arranged pick up and delivery is well organised. As far as I am concerned this booking is still valid and progressing really well.

The customer misrepresented the shipment, and I cannot service it

I am no longer able to accommodate this shipment The chap said his lorry had broken down the day he was supposed to have collected it. I tel. him the night before and he said it was still OK and he would collect. I have sold my house and had to beg the new owners to let me leave it there for a while.
