About Me

We are NYC-based, and often arrange reasonably-priced small shipments from other US areas, for an ongoing home renovation that uses period, antique or salvaged materials/furnishings whenever possible. We're friendly & easy to deal with, & have workers on site with dollies & carts can lend a hand unloading, if needed. Yes, NYC, but...keep reading! Our quiet, low traffic neighborhood means few hassles, & is near the FDR Drive for easy on/off & major highway access. Deliveries are sidewalk drop or come to the front door at sidewalk level, next to a permanent ramp. Since site is owner-occupied, all arrangements are flexible: with 48-hour advance cell/email notice, we'll cheerfully greet you from 8am to midnight every day. Hope to work together!

I am no longer able to accommodate this shipment I have had personal losses which make delivery financially impossible. I am not charging for my services since I could not fulfill my obligations to the client. I am requesting a full refund to my client who has paid in full through Uship payments. The client will need to relist the shipment which I will keep safe until a pick up is made by another service provider. Thanks. Craig Shofstall

Regrettably, everything that could go wrong on this delivery, did go wrong. One obstacle after another prevented us from setting a time of arrival that we could actually meet. Consequently, we kept Amy up throughout the night waiting for us to arrive. She had every right to be angry with us but she treated us with understanding and respect. For this I am deeply grateful and hold her and her son (who waited with her and helped us unload) in high esteem. (My deepest apologies & appreciation Amy)

A last minute reasonable bid, with financial terms and timing good for both of us. Prompt communication, all went smoothly, items carefully blanket wrapped and delivered on time without damage or issues. Appreciated the extra help unloading. Owner Christine is a pro, new to UShip but in the biz for many years. Was happy to deliver my one bureau to GA from FL on a tight timeline. Her UShip "maiden voyage" went well overall -- strenths were a fair bid, & pleasant, organized, prompt & reliable communications. Flexible & customer-centered, she gave me confidence from miles away that my item would be cared for. Wants to solve all problems, good response re: her local driver's unfortunate delay. Strongly recommend to all & will use again!

Excellent experience start to finish with intelligent, pleasant and competent one-man shipper. Unusually diligent, patient, thorough professional, bid responsively and priced fairly. Focused on details and experienced with vintage/antique furniture, he took the initiative to inspect item at pickup and emailed me digital photos. Outstanding communication skills, kept me constantly informed by phone, text message and email. Made delivery in perfect condition, well before estimated time. Bravo!
