Pickup & delivery were on agreed-upon days & they even took me to Ikea & delivered the furniture for me (awesome!). However, there were several people involved (drivers, logistics guy, owner) & communication was very spotty. There was also damage to some items during delivery. Contacted the company about the communication issues & damage. Got different stories from different guys. Was promised reimbursement for the damage & the check never arrived (been almost a month). Hence, the negative.

We had filled the trailer and time frame for us and the customer was not a workable time frame anymore. Good customer and hope to do business in the future

This is the second time I hired Frank and Lois (aka seattledriver) via uShip. They are trustworthy, hard-working, and very amiable. Unfortunately, this shipment was plagued by extraordinarily bad luck and I finally received my stuff last week (I accepted the bid in January). The long delay and infrequent updates in the meantime are the reason for the 'neutral' rating.

You're absolutely right, Amanda. Our shippers did not receive our normal level of service while we dealt with the emotional wreckage from the catastrophe that resulted in the death of Frank's father. Frank and Lois (aka seattledriver) are what I love about uShip. A dynamite husband-and-wife team, they offer the personalized service you can't get from major carriers or brokered deals. They are also very smart about putting together loads and planning their trips, which means they can offer very reasonable prices (especially if you have a flexible timeframe). I recommend them without reservation.
