About Me

I have a few motorcycles and need to ship one or more from time to time. This is mostly when it is too far or not worth my time to go pick up or drop off the motorcycle myself with car and trailer. I am usually somewhat flexible as to the pick up and drop off date and time but this depends a lot on the seller also. I guess as long as the seller has a window of time for pick up or if the shipper is willing to keep in touch with the seller by phone as to the approximate date and time for pickup, which would help a lot. I just want to be sure that the shipping company doesn’t just arrive at the seller’s residence for pick up and find the seller out, at work, or wherever. I would like the shipping to go smoothly. Usually, I would need the shipping company to have covered transport and securely tie down the motorcycle so that it can't move during transport. There may be some spare parts or documents that ship with the motorcycle, but then again maybe not. Good communication is the k

Ed delivered the Yamaha all the way from Sandusky, OH to my house in Maryland. He kept in contact by cell phone, called me from the road to give me an update of his arrival time. The bike was well tied down and covered with blankets just for good measure. He carefully took the bike from the van and we placed it on the center-stand in my driveway. I was delighted. I would have liked to have chatted more about the experience but Ed is a busy man and had to head over to his next delivery.

Steve & Joe arrived on time with my Suzuki Boulevard in perfect condition. I noticed they took extra care with the tie-downs, placing some small towels under the harness points to prevent scratches. They kept in touch by email and phone. They were true to their word, took great care with my bike, and once we met, I could tell, they were nice guys too. They care about their business and their clients. Their trailer was clean and well organized with other bikes. I added them to my favorites.

Shipper, Jim, was great communicator, kept me informed at all times as to the pickup and delivery. Very happy with his service. Will definitely use him next time I need shipping.

Motorcycle was delivered approximately 12:15 PM today (5/8/12) and appears to be transported without any problems. The transporter, Ed Marberger, was easy to deal with and responsive to my questions. I would definitely recommend him to others and would use him again when the need arises. His enclosed truck and enclosed trailer are in excellent, if not newish condition.
